The Night’s fighting demons

The Night is a Gift from the Day, A time to rest and grow strong in its own way. The Night is a break from the Day, A time to dream and build your own way.

But when the Night brings you resistance And demons chase your soul in persistence, Then this is not a gift that makes you feel whole, It brings a battle of terror and the toll.

The Night brings a fight, horror, and fear -And a soul that howls to be reborn and appear. The Night creates images that make grown-ups scared -And demons march in line, unimpaired.

But when the Night slowly turns to Day And the demons leave you, still holding at bay, Then you know that your time has not come -And your life has flowed out of the light once again.

So thank the Night\’s fighting demons For the pain in your side and the wounds from the thorns of hate. The Night, in all its mystique, is your friend -And now there are only hours until you meet again.

Find peace, dear human friend, And live well until we meet again!

This poem speaks to me about the duality of life, and how the Night represents both rest and struggle. It reminds me that while rest and rejuvenation are important, life is not always easy. There will be times when I face resistance and struggle, when demons chase my soul in persistence.

But even in these moments of darkness, I can hold onto the hope that they will eventually pass. The Night will slowly turn to Day, and the demons will leave me, still holding at bay. And in that moment, I can know that my time has not come, and my life has flowed out of the light once again.

This poem also teaches me the importance of gratitude, even for the difficult moments. I can thank the Night\’s fighting demons, for they have taught me strength and resilience. They have shown me that even in the darkest of moments, I am capable of fighting back and holding on to hope.

So I choose to find peace in the knowledge that life is a journey of both rest and struggle. I will embrace the Night as a gift, a time to rest and dream, but also a time to build my own way and face the challenges that come my way. And even when the demons come, I will hold onto the hope that the Night will eventually turn to Day, and my soul will be reborn and appear once again.
