Recently, I had the chance to help an intriguing Nepali artist, Ugem Manandhar, launch his first website and create an artist logo to go with it. His portfolio site—ArtPop by Ugem Manandhar—showcases his rich and diverse body of work.
I’ve known Ugem through Facebook for several years, and my respect for his talent and curiosity only grows. His art is both versatile and bold—some pieces are challenging, some are simply fascinating, and a few trigger deep admiration in me. I’ve even been fortunate enough to acquire one of his striking paintings, which now hangs in my living room.
We’ve also collaborated creatively: I’ve tried pairing my texts with his visual art, which turned out to be an exciting challenge and a true exercise in co-creation. I’m both glad and honored to have worked alongside him.
