Why so many books?
Writing is the way I keep track of my own journey. Every book marks a place I’ve stood—sometimes alone, sometimes with others, sometimes alongside a machine. I don’t write for the shelves; I write to stay honest with myself and anyone who might walk this road after me.
Are these books really free?
Most of them, yes. If the words have value, it’s because they’re offered without a gate. PDFs and e-books are there for those who want them—read, download, share. A few printed editions have a price, but that’s for paper and ink, not for profit.
What’s with the mix of print, PDF, and e-book?
Books take different forms, just like stories do. Some belong in your hand, some live on a screen, some sit in the cloud or in a library archive. I make each edition as true to itself as I can—no matter the format, the heart of it doesn’t change.
How do you keep track of it all?
Most days, I don’t. The list grows, the shelves fill up, and sometimes the map is written after the path is walked. This site is my best attempt to keep it all in view, for myself as much as for you. If you find something here that stays with you, that’s all the order I need.
