\”Self-confidence is not about gaining trust in oneself, but about gaining trust in the Self.\”
Frank-Thomas Tindejuv
As I read this poem, I couldn\’t help but reflect on my own journey towards self-confidence. For a long time, I believed that self-confidence was simply about gaining trust in myself. I thought that if I could just believe in my abilities and talents, I would be confident enough to pursue my dreams and achieve my goals.
But as I\’ve grown and learned more about myself, I\’ve come to realize that self-confidence is much more than that. It\’s not just about trusting in my own abilities, but about trusting in the deeper, more authentic parts of myself – the parts that make up my true Self.
This kind of self-confidence goes beyond just believing in my skills or talents. It\’s about having faith in my own intuition, my own sense of purpose, and my own unique journey. It\’s about trusting that I have everything I need within me to navigate the challenges and opportunities that come my way.
Of course, building this kind of self-confidence is not always easy. It requires a deep level of self-awareness and self-reflection, as well as a willingness to let go of limiting beliefs and fears. But as I continue on my own journey towards self-confidence, I know that it\’s these deeper aspects of myself that I need to cultivate and trust in order to truly thrive. Building my self-confidence doesn\’t mean that I\’m perfect or infallible. It doesn\’t mean that everything will always go my way. But it does mean that I can trust myself—and my intuition—in the face of any challenge or situation.
