Something positive that is happening in my life right now is the project I’m doing together with Vardeteatret, where we are planning to write the theatre’s history from the last 20 years.
I’m both glad and honoured to be part of this project, and it feels good that the founders of the theatre, Jo Skjønberg and Leif de Thurah Sørensen is giving me this possibility.
I have been working alongside them in the theatre on and off through all these years, so I’m in an good position to be helpful in this project. And I have many of the skills needed to fulfil this project too.
The idea for the moment is to create a website and make that the place of Vardeteatrets living story, and then in the end make a printed book to share with the world.
We are in the super early planning stages now, so everything is open and on the table. It’s going to be a lot of push and pull to get this underway, but that is the core engine in a creative process, so all is as it should be at the moment.
Summing up 20 years of theatrical and socio-political history with a lot of personal histories is going to be a challenge, and it’s going to take some time and effort. But I’m up for the challenge and I’m proud to be a part of it!
